Title: Chicken Grenadine

1cFlour
1tsGarlic; chopped
1tsSavory salt
1 Chicken; cut into serivng pieces
1/2cButter
1lgOnion; chopped
1cnSliced mushrooms; drained
2cGrenadine syrup
1cBrandy
2tbTurmeric
  Flat noodles

In a large shaking bag combine the flour, garlic, and slat. Coat each piece of chicken thoruoughly with the seasoned flour. In a heavy skillet melt the butter and brown the chicken on both sides. In a deep ovenproof baking dish place a layer of chicken and half the onions and mushrooms. In a small bowl combine the grenadine and brandy. Pour half the mixture over the chicken. Repeat the layers of chicken, onions, mushrooms, and liquid. Bake covered in a 350~ oven for 1 to 1 1.2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the liquid. Serve over flat noodles.
